You will join a team of highly motivated and energetic business, sales and technology professionals. You will be responsible for growing revenue and delivering sophisticated data solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve set monthly data consulting revenue targets
  • Design and manage delivery of data solutions to clients (with input from our technical team where required)
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with energy and a determination to close
  • Develop key Account relationships for corporate-class customers you identify
  • Provide solutions that meet Data Irelands’ needs as well as add value by recommending and selling additional products and services to those clients
  • Sustain long-term, partner-class relationships
  • Communicate technical information on our range of services in an easily understandable way
  • Prepare and present professional proposals
  • Close profitable new business and sustain sales year-on-year with these customers
  • Engage and inspire marketing strategies to support your sales efforts
  • Present to and meet senior buyers, promising in a way that responds to their strategic outlook for their business
  • Support the development of an evolving product range through proactive feedback to the product development function

Essential Experience

  • Track record in new business delivery and an ability to demonstrate the commercial acumen to work and succeed in a complex business environment.
  • Used to applying a consulting style, listening to understand customer problems and responding with an appropriate solution
  • Not less than 3 years selling mid-ticket software-based services to corporate and government customers with 250+ employees
  • Strong familiarity applying relationship-based and strategic selling techniques

The Person

  • A natural communicator who can recognise challenges in the customer’s environment and match solutions from Data Ireland’s product set.
  • Is experienced offering "solutions", ideally based on technology-related services/advice.
  • Can deliver a compelling business case and negotiate to close.
  • Has the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of internal executives including production managers and subject-matter experts
  • Demonstrate an energetic, self-motivated and flexible approach to the job.
  • Highly organised, disciplined and results focused
